A non-refundable registration fee is required each semester for students to participate in classes at SoLa.  Early registration = $10, Regular registration = $15, Late registration = $20.

Each one hour class has a tuition cost of $10 per class.  Tuition will not be prorated for students joining the class during late registration. 

The semester cost for a one hour class is $150 and is non-refundable.  Tuition will not be prorated for students joining the class during late registration.

The 2008 spring semester will be held from January 7, 2008 through May 2, 2007.

Tuition may be paid in full at the start of the semester or paid in three installments.  A $5 processing fee will be added to installment payments.

1. One hour class = three installments of $55
2. Payments are due on January 7, February 18, and March 31, 2008.
3. A late fee of $5 will be added to all invoices which are paid after the due date.  This policy is strictly enforced.
4. Payment Coupons must accompany all payments to make sure your payment is processed correctly.  These coupons can be picked up in the office.

The Center will be closed for the weeks of New Year’s Day (December 30 – January 6), Mardi Gras (February 3 – 9) and Easter (March 20 – 26).  These weeks are not included in the 15 weeks of instruction.

Payments should be made to the office at 7839 Park Avenue in Houma and placed in the tuition payment box.

SoLa reserves the right to drop a student from classes if he/she has a negative attitude, misbehaves, distracts other students, or is more than 30 days delinquent on a tuition payment.

Parents must understand that their child's artwork may be displayed in the community and their child might be in contact with the press at an event or exhibition.  Also, it may be necessary for SoLa staff to photograph or video tape students to advertise SoLa Center for the Arts.
