Payments and General Regulations for Private Lessons:

008_8.JPG

A non-refundable $15 registration fee is required for each student for each semester.  A non-refundable $10 registration fee is required for each additional student from the same family.

The tuition cost for one month of private lessons in voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar, or piano is $60.  This is for one lesson per week for half an hour.  Most months have four lessons.  However, some months may have three or five lessons.

Instructors must be notified 24 hours in advance if a student will miss a lesson in order for a make-up lesson to be scheduled.  If you cannot reach your instructor, please call the SoLa office to leave a message for them.  Make-up lessons are scheduled at the discretion of the instructor.  If you choose not to accept a make-up lesson, the fee for that lesson will be forfeited.

The Center will be closed for the week of Independence Day (June 30 - July4)

The 2008 summer session will be held from
May 5 through August 31.

Payments for private lessons

·        Payments should be made to SoLa Center for the Arts and placed in the tuition box by the office door.

·        Payments must be received in the office by the 5th of each month or postmarked by the 5th if mailed.

·        A late fee of $5 will be added to all invoices which are paid after the due date.  This policy is strictly enforced.

·        Payment coupons must accompany all payments to make sure each is processed correctly.  These coupons may be obtained from the office.

SoLa reserves the right to drop a student from classes if he/she has a negative attitude, misbehaves, distracts other students, or is more than 30 days delinquent on a tuition payment.

A student wishing to discontinue private lessons must notify the SoLa office at least 24 hours before the first lesson of the month in order be exempt from paying tuition for that month.  Outstanding balances must be paid promptly, including any late fees.

Parents and students fully understand that student artwork will be displayed in the community and students may be in contact with the press at an event or exhibition.  Also, it may be necessary for SoLa staff to photograph or video tape students to advertise SoLa Center for the Arts in publications and on websites.

Thank you for supporting the arts in our community!
